Who We Are
Driven by Passion
What started as a lifelong friendship and shared passions turned into a vision for something greater.
Ed and Ashley have been friends and family for over 30 years. Through every season of life, two interests consistently brought them together: real estate investing and fishing. Whether they were discussing renovation ideas or casting lines on the water, they shared a love for strategy, patience, and seeing potential where others might not.
Over the years, their conversations about investment properties, market opportunities, and transforming homes naturally evolved into action. With Ashley’s design expertise, certification as an International Design & Decorating Professional (I.D.D.P.), and extensive real estate experience, combined with Ed’s investment mindset and entrepreneurial drive, CAST Signature Properties was born.
The name reflects more than business. Like fishing, real estate investing requires timing, vision, persistence, and knowing when to make the right move. Together, they built CAST Signature Properties on trust, integrity, and a shared commitment to creating value in every property.
Today, their mission is simple: identify opportunity, transform spaces with intention, and help others build wealth and homes they love.
About Ashley Anderson
Ashley Anderson is a certified I.D.D.P (International Design & Decorating Professional) and has been investing in and flipping homes since 2007. What began as a passion for decorating her own homes and helping friends and family transform theirs quickly evolved into a true calling. She discovered that the combination of real estate and design creates something powerful: the ability to transform not just houses, but the way people feel in their homes.
As an Illinois Licensed Managing Broker and co-owner of CAST Realty, Ashley blends market expertise with design vision to help buyers, sellers, and investors maximize value and recognize potential that others may overlook. Her background has shaped her eye for detail, aesthetics, and client experience, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, personalized, and results-driven.
Beyond her professional work, Ashley is a devoted wife and proud mother of five. She finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her family and traveling with her husband, creating memories that inspire both her life and her work.
At CAST Signature Properties, Ashley’s mission is simple: to help clients see the beauty, potential, and opportunity in every space while guiding them confidently through every step of their real estate journey.
About Ed Chouinard
Ed Chouinard is a seasoned entrepreneur and real estate investor with a lifelong track record of building, growing, and leading successful businesses. He purchased his first home at just 18 years old, marking the beginning of a decades-long journey in real estate investment and strategic business development. Over the years, Ed has owned and operated multimillion-dollar companies, bringing a sharp financial mindset and disciplined approach to every opportunity he pursues.
With a background in accounting and finance from Loyola University, Ed approaches real estate with both analytical precision and entrepreneurial instinct. He is known for betting on himself, trusting his vision, and pursuing opportunities with confidence and determination. Ed’s passion for real estate is rooted in both opportunity and vision, seeing what others might miss and having the confidence to pursue it. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his four sons, traveling, and escaping to Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
